TO BE SEEN AND FEEL ABLE.
Practicing, engaging, and choosing a different path for ourselves takes time and courage. Our bodies, minds, and spirits may have become stuck in patterns leading to chronic pain, depression, and anxiety. Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy hopes to increase our awareness of the present, reconnecting our bodies and emotions with breath and intention, helping us both be seen and feel able once again.
WHAT IS A YOGA THERAPY SESSION LIKE?
What is a Yoga Therapy session like? Everyone's session will look different, however, what they all have in common is a lengthy look at a person's daily life, pain, dysfunction, joy, hobbies, and goals. An assessment of what is personally possible to create change. Moving from present issues toward purposeful daily routines, regulation, awareness, and tools that utilize CHOICE of our bodies, thoughts, nervous system, and habits. Habits include what we put into our bodies and how we move through our waking and sleeping hours.
We find personal ways to release and reconnect. To thrive and grow. We use props, mats, meditation, guided relaxation, your senses, self-talk and personal faith, time, and space to brainstorm your shifts.
YOUR TOOLS. YOUR WAY THROUGH.
We offer in-person sessions at our space inside the Whitestone Counseling building in Marble Falls, TX, and virtual sessions through Zoom. An example of a virtual session can be seen HERE.
